Wrapping Up Bloom Season: Seeds, Soil, and Big Plans for 2025!

Maple Valley Farm’s 2024 Season of Blooms

As we say goodbye to another beautiful bloom season at Maple Valley Farm, it’s time to roll up our sleeves and get ready for what’s next. The fields are transforming—where once there were rows of brilliant zinnias, celosia, dahlias, and sunflowers, there are now seeds waiting to be gathered, soil ready to be nurtured, and big dreams being planted for the next season.

The Stars of 2024: A Look Back at Our Favorite Blooms

This year has been nothing short of spectacular, thanks to our wonderful visitors and our favorite blooms. The zinnias were a constant burst of color, while the dahlias dazzled everyone who stopped by the farm stand. Sunflowers reached for the sky, standing tall and proud, while the celosia brought a feathery splash of uniqueness. It’s been incredible to share these blooms with all of you—whether you crafted a bouquet for a friend, brightened up your dining table, or simply wandered through the farm, soaking in the beauty.

Looking Ahead to 2025: New Blooms Are on Their Way!

But the end of one season means the beginning of the next! We’re excited to share that we’ll be adding some new floral faces to our fields in 2025. Early spring will bring tulips and daffodils to kick off the bloom season with bursts of vibrant colors.

Following them, we’ll be introducing romantic peonies, classic hydrangeas, cheerful carnations, and striking lupine. You can also expect clusters of sunny yarrow and, yes, even more of the blooms you already know and love.

Our goal for 2025 is more blooms, more colors, and more chances for you to enjoy the farm's beauty. Whether you’re a longtime supporter or planning your first visit, we can’t wait to share what’s in store.

Seed Collecting & Soil Prepping: Getting Ready for a Bloom-filled Future

Right now, we’re busy collecting seeds from this year’s flowers—saving some of the best from our beloved zinnias and dahlias. Seed collecting allows us to carry forward the strong blooms from this season into the next, ensuring even better and brighter flowers for you to enjoy. We’re also prepping the soil, enriching it with nutrients to make sure our new blooms have the healthiest start possible.

We’re putting our hearts into making next year’s garden our best yet, and it starts now—with seed-saving jars, mulched rows, and plans sketched out for bigger, more bountiful flower beds. We hope you’re as excited as we are!

New For Next Season!

The farm may be winding down for the year, but we’re already counting the days until we see you again among the flowers. Keep an eye on our blog for updates, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and news about what’s growing at Maple Valley Farm.

Until then, thank you for welcoming us this season with open arms and we can’t wait to see everyone next season, with blooms a-bloomin’ of course! Here’s to seeds, soil, and more blooms than ever in 2025!
